  • Heavily interacting with the business users to get a better understanding of client business processes and gathering business requirements.
  • Preparing the business requirements documents (BRD) and getting sign off from the customers on frozen requirements which has to be used by the developers.


Business Analyst

  • Conducting walk through sessions on business requirement document (BRD) and use cases to deliberate certain issues with stake holders
  • Supporting the development team in designing & development.
  • Involving in gap analysis with gathered information against market’s best practices.
  • Having adequate domain knowledge to communicate with business users
  • Having in-depth knowledge of business processes in IT industries. A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including various concepts such as requirement gathering, development cycle of product with in-house testing, user acceptance testing by customer (CSA), implementation sign off, Support handover and AMC.
  • Providing functional inputs to the development team.
  • Documenting the requirements in business requirement documents includes acceptance criteria document (ACD), functional specification document (FSD) and supporting for software requirement specifications (SRS).
  • Proficiency in developing efficient business relationships with various client teams in order to process and support requirements, develop tactical, operational and strategic plans to implement technology solutions, and effectively manage client expectations.
  • Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills, technically competent and goal-oriented with problem solving skills and ability to work independently and use sound judgment
  • Working with the development team during the design, build and test phase of system projects to clarify business requirements as required.
  • Providing post production support/analysis and assisted in performing user acceptance testing (UAT) of the product with business users, performance testing and validated test plans.
  • Analyzing as-is and to-be state of the project and performed gap analysis, impact analysis
  • Assisting in closure/deletion of defects and bugs, in order to meet specific requirements and deadlines for successful execution of the project
  • Working closely with offshore development team, if project demands


Business Analysis

  • Coordinating with the test team to check the weekly status and report the same to the project manager.
  • Working as an Interface between the users and the different teams involved in the application development for better understanding of the business and IT processes.
  • Attending the steering committee meetings with management to discuss the status of project and draft strategies for the near future.
  • Interacting extensively with the QA Team in executing the test plans, providing test data and creating test cases. 
  • Responsible for interacting with the developers to explain the change requests raised by the clients and understand the system requirements to handle these changes.
  • Participating in regular strategy planning sessions with clients to ascertain upcoming project needs and long term goals.
  • Providing clients with technical and system or digital strategy for new projects.
  • Ensuring all artifacts complied with corporate SDLC Policies and guidelines.
  • Prioritizing outstanding defects and system problems, ensuring accuracy and deadlines were met.
  • Coordinating work plans between project manager and client.
  • Maintaining the Requirement Traceability table (RTT) for the up gradation of software with the common / generic requirement
  • Coordinating for the pre-sales support activities including RFP responses to the clients
  • Planning, directing, and managing designated testing projects to ensure compliance with business requirements and project goals
  • Being the part of Test strategy preparation for various projects
  • Preparation of test Plans and test scope
  • Ensuring accountability for the specific product’s test repository creation and maintenance
  • Managing the execution trackers and defect metrics
  • Suggestion of mitigation plans for the identified risks
  • Bridging the gap in domain understanding between the client’s business users, developers and testing team
  • Researching ongoing trends/developments in business / regulatory updates and competitor analysis across the globe.
  • Reviewing the Test accelerators and Test Artifacts
  • Involving in roadmap discussions with product team by giving insights on regional and market requirements
  • Interacting with business owners to identify business system needs, evaluating the solutions for business problems and proposed alternate methods to increase efficiency.
  • Providing user training to the business users
  • Building the strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective &  proactive communication
  • Contributing to improve the efficiency and quality of existing processes and systems to create better opportunities for the company
  • Providing the operational recommendations and consulting services to the clients
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service was provided to all of our customers by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Thorough understanding of laws, regulations and company policies
  • Developing collaterals such as value chain, brochures, sales Kit, reviewed the product functionality document for the specific line of business.
